WHO WE ARE

You’ll find Jamie Smith and his brilliant “Team George” behind the pumps at the bar, bringing food to your table in the snug or in the restaurant and always on hand to help or answer any questions.

You may also see Ramsay, Jamie’s gorgeous, well-trained and behaved white german shepherd hound. He is always happy to see other well controlled dogs which are always welcome in both bars.  You won’t find Ramsay and his friends in the restaurant area as even they realise that is out of bounds.  However, their well-behaved owners and families are always welcome!

Our aim is to ensure that every customer has an enjoyable and memorable experience and, in order to achieve this, every member of our team is essential.

From the staff that keep the pub spotlessly clean, to our kitchen staff who source the ingredients, develop the recipes, wash the dishes and maintain the hygiene standards, to the waiting staff who walk miles every day (literally!) to serve your food and drinks. We are ‘Team George’!
